Hello everyone! This is the much anticipated event that we've asked about for months now!The tail of the dragon will be about a 7 hour drive (hints why we leave very early) Attached will be the flier with times along with some additional information. Please read them through.
The day we leave, I'll appoint a couple other drivers to help lead the pack, just so if someone is lost they'll be able to catch up to a few. A group chat will be made on both Snapchat and Facebook so you and others can join up together and cruise the route on your own. Once we get to the Tail, it'll be up to you on what you decide to do. You're responsible for finding a place to sleep over the night (if you choose to stay the night in Tennessee which is recommended).
The Tail of the Dragon is praised as one of the best driving roads in the United States. It's known for its 300+ turns in just under 11 miles. There is a lot of elevation and many pull off spots for pictures, as well as to take a break or let other drivers behind you pass. There are many photographers out on the Tail, notably Killboy and 129slayers. Those two will take pictures everyday until about 5 pm. More information will be relayed as time gets closer and when we meet in person.
