Here in 2026, gender remains a controversial topic. What defines a male? What defines a female? What about people who don’t fit into either of these two possibilities? Does gender identity relate to sexual orientation?
Now is the time to learn about what constitutes gender identity and what, if anything, it has to do with sexual orientation.
About the Instructor:
Dr. Susan Trout holds an M.D. from Albert Einstein School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Medical School. She completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Rutgers and taught on the faculty for six years. Dr. Trout moved to Colorado in 2002 and was appointed a clinical professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is board-certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility.
