Help pack weekend meal bags for children in need on April 26th in Norwalk, CT! This is a fun and rewarding way to give your time. Work in an assembly line with other volunteers to fill weekend meal bags. This is a fast-paced active volunteer opportunity, must be able to stand for 2 hours and lift 10 LBS. This opportunity is for a group of 12-30 people that want to volunteer with Filling in the Blanks.Filling in the Blanks was founded by mothers and community activists, Shawnee Knight and Tina Kramer, who created the nonprofit as a way to marry their loves of community, children, food and charity. In 2013, Knight and Kramer created Filling in the Blanks which has now expanded to include over 200 sites throughout Fairfield, Westchester and Putnam Counties and has delivered over THREE MILLION-weekend meals to children in low-income households.

Volunteers aged 14 and up
Wear comfortable closed toe shoes and clothing as you will be working in a warehouse.
