About this Event

The 2026 Esri Wisconsin User Group Conference will take the field at Lambeau on November 5th & 6th!

This year marks the 25th conference of the Esri Wisconsin User Group; not just a milestone - a legacy. For 25 conferences, this group has been bringing together GIS professionals to share what's working, what's not, and what's next.

A lot has changed over that time. We've gone from desktop-heavy workflows to web GIS, real-time data, and now AI starting to work its way into everyday tools. Through all of it, this conference board has consistently devoted their time and effort to coordinating countless technical sessions and providing a field for networking with people doing similar work.

We've had plenty of good years, and a few weird ones. But the fact that we're here for conference 25 says a lot about the strength of this community. Hosting at Lambeau seems like an appropriate spot for something that's been around this long and keeps showing up every year.

EWUG - Esri Wisconsin User Group - is a statewide group that meets to discuss Esri software related topics. The group was formed in 1998.

Keynotes

The EWUG board is beyond excited to welcome back Ismael Chivite, Distinguished Product Manager, as the keynote speaker for the 25th EWUG Conference. Although Ismael is currently out of the country, he will join us live via a remote connection for this special milestone event.

Ismael Chivite joined Esri in 2002. A geographer by training, he loves helping people leverage GIS to improve the way they work. As a Senior Product Manager, Ismael is always looking for ideas to create new and improve existing Esri products. Outside working hours: Legos, rock climbing, Romanesque architecture and jamon iberico. On occasion, he enjoys jamon during working hours too.

The EWUG lineup keeps getting stronger! Helen Thompson and Emily Knish-Anderson are also returning to EWUG at Lambeau Field. With another pair of all-stars joining the lineup, this year's event is shaping up to be a championship-caliber gathering.
