East West University INTRA CSE/ICE/ETE CRICKET CARNIVAL 2025Assalamu Alaikum, everyone
We hope you are all doing well. It is time once again to awaken the cricketing spirit that unites us all. We are delighted to announce the most anticipated sporting event of the year — EWU INTRA CSE/ICE/ETE CRICKET CARNIVAL 2025.
Form your teams, bring your friends, and prepare for an exciting tournament filled with sportsmanship, energy, and memories to cherish. The main objective of this event is to bring together the cricket-loving students and alumni from the CSE, ECE, ICE, and ETE programs of East West University under one platform.
Venue: Aftabnagar Play Ground, Aftabnagar, Dhaka
Date: 5th & 6th December 2025 (Friday & Saturday)
Time: 7.00 AM (Both Days)
• Total Teams: 16
• 11-member squad
• 9 players on the field
• 1 female team ambassador
• Match Format: 6 overs per side
• Jersey: Each team must wear their own official jersey (design format will be announced soon).
> The top two teams (winner and runner-up) from each group will qualify for the Quarterfinals.
> The winners of the Quarterfinals will advance to the Semifinals.
> The winners of the Semifinals will face each other in the Grand Final to compete for the championship title.
• Entry Fee:
Current Student Teams: 3500 BDT
Alumni Teams: 4500 BDT
• Payment Schedule:
50% of the entry fee must be paid upon team confirmation.
The remaining 50% must be paid by 30 November 2025.

• Registration Deadline: 30 November 2025
• Eligibility: Only students and alumni from the CSE, ECE, ICE, and ETE programs of East West University are eligible to participate.
• Guest Teams: Guest teams from the Department of CSE may participate with prior approval.
> Each team must announce their official squad along with a female team ambassador during registration.
> Slots are limited. Teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

> Champion: Trophy + Medals + Prize Money (to be announced soon)
> Runners-Up: Trophy + Medals + Prize Money (to be announced soon)
> Man of the Tournament: Trophy
> Best Batsman: Trophy
> Best Bowler: Trophy
> Emerging Player of the Tournament: Trophy
> Man of the Match: Medal (in every match)
Rules and Regulations:
> All players must be from the CSE, ECE, ICE, or ETE programs of East West University.
> Each team must wear its own official jersey.
> Match timings will be announced soon.
> The tournament draw will be held seven days before the event, in the presence of team captains.
> Players must report at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match.
> A player cannot play for more than one team.
> All standard ICC rules will be followed.
> Any form of misconduct, slang, sledging, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
> The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify or update any rule if deemed necessary.
