Celebrate ESEA Heritage Month 2026 with EasyStepUK at Evolving Threads: Food, Flowers and Conversations — a welcoming community afternoon supported by Lewisham Council.

FREE FESTIVAL ENTRY

Festival entry and the drop-in creative activities below are free. Registration helps us plan materials and staffing, but it does not reserve a place at an individual activity. Activities operate on a first-come, first-served basis and availability may vary during the afternoon.

FREE ACTIVITIES

• Dragon dance experience

• Blank fan painting

• Dried-flower transparent bookmark making

• Chinese calligraphy

• Chenille stem flower making

• Chinese paper cutting

• Cultural storytelling and community conversations

• Family-friendly cultural activities

No previous experience is needed. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult.

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue is on the second floor and has no lift or step-free access. Seating is available. Please contact us before registering if you have accessibility requirements so we can discuss whether the event is suitable and what support may be possible.
