A Weekend Workshop: Ever wondered how to weave a truly yogic lifestyle into your daily routine? Join "Sister Science: Seasonal Ayurveda" to discover the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga's sister science. This class offers a fascinating, surface-level understanding of how to balance your unique constitution and thrive with the rhythm of the seasons.
In this session, we'll explore:
Understanding Your Dosha: Take a fun quiz and get a basic breakdown of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) to identify your unique energetic blueprint.
Seasonal Balancing: Learn simple, effective practices, foods, and rituals to find greater balance throughout the year, aligning with nature's cycles.
Sensory Observations: Explore easy ways to observe your body's cues through skin, tongue, and eye observations, offering insights into your current state of balance.
The Five Elements in Practice: Connect with the foundational five elements through a gentle, grounding (often Yin-style) practice designed to bring harmony to your system.
Seasonal Tea Ritual: Enjoy a specially selected seasonal tea, chosen to complement our exploration of doshas and the elements.
