Course Description:
A solid understanding of today's preparation designs and resin bonding principles across ceramic and composite treatment options is essential for predictable, long-term clinical success. This course connects evidence-based concepts with clinical protocols that you can immediately apply in your daily practice.
Starting with esthetic principles and clinical photography, the program transitions into an extensive hands-on experience. You will learn and practice updated preparation designs for indirect resin-bonded ceramic restorations, including laminate veneers, onlays, vonlays, resin-bonded bridges. You will also perform the actual bonding steps for these restorations as well as the flowable injection technique, all presented in a practical, step-by-step format.
Over two immersive full days, this program offers a comprehensive blend of lectures and guided, hands-on training, covering current restorative materials, technologies, and clinical concepts. The small-group personalized setting ensures dynamic and meaningful interaction, skill development, and increased confidence in modern restorative workflows.

- Select proper ceramic materials for each clinical indication and patient from glass-based ceramics to zirconia.
- Practice current and proven cementation and bonding protocols for each ceramic material step-by-step with real restorations.
- Understand the science behind all the above to be able to make your own decisions..
- Create a new smile with the flowable injection technique.Understand and practice up-to date minimally invasive tooth preparation designs for anterior veneers, posterior onlays, and anterior resin-bonded bridges.
Markus Blatz, DMD, PhD
Dr. Blatz is a world-renowned speaker, clinician, and researcher in esthetic and adhesive dentistry. He is Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Chairman of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Blatz is Editor-in-Chief of Compendium and Associate Editor of several scientific dental journals, having published hundreds of scientific and clinical articles as well as best-selling textbooks, the latest on “Laminate Veneers."
