Evesham Live are proud to present a stellar line up of some of the best comedians on the UK Circuit today.Hosted by Matt Richardson the multi-award winning stand-up comedian and one of the most exciting names on the circuit. Firmly established as one of the UK’s most exciting young performers and presenters – hosted the drive-time show on Virgin Radio. His TV credits include co-hosting the Xtra Factor & Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live! and is fresh off the back of his 2025 UK Tour ‘Brash’.
Matt will introduce you to James Ellis, Josh Pugh and Lindsey Santoro.
Award-winning comedian James Ellis is a rising star in the UK comedy scene. His sharp observational humour and clever punchlines have won him rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. James’ comedy is rooted in everyday life, and he has a knack for finding the funny in the mundane. A gifted writer, his jokes are well-crafted and delivered with precision. Leicester Comedian of The Year 2025 Nominee, South Coast Comedian of the Year 2021, regional finalist for the BBC New Comedy Award, James is currently on on the road supporting Angela Barnes on her “Angst” Tour.
Josh Pugh won a Funhouse Comedy gong show, which was his first ever gig, and then six months later was named Best New Act at the 2014 Midlands Comedy Awards. He has gained a proven track record of being a winner. Josh has a unique, interesting and funny voice. Josh also won English Comedian of the Year 2016 and Chortle Comedian To Watch 2017.
Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, and is one of the best hidden gems on the comedy circuit. Finalist of the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as semi-finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards, Funny Women Regional finalist, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Podcast Award Nominee for Biggest Idiot, Lindsey has become one of the country’s must book acts. Credits include Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out, BBC Radio 4’s Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, and on Comedy Central Live. Lindsey has also been seen supporting Russell Kane and Joe Lycett on tour.
