Everywhere we meet - Singles Social Mixer

Basingstoke, we’re back… and this time, we’re taking things slow.

Join us on 23rd April, from 7:30pm.

After the success of our first social mixer (you did behave yourselves, right?), we’re returning to the effortlessly gorgeous Alchemy with a new twist: Slow Dating.

Think speed dating—but without the stopwatch anxiety.
No frantic seat-switching, no “wait, what was your name again?” panic.

Instead, you’ll join small groups of 4–5 people and actually have time to talk. Properly. Like humans.

You’ll spend around 8–10 minutes at each table—just enough to get beyond the “what do you do?” and into something a little more interesting. There’ll be optional conversation prompts if you fancy a nudge, but no pressure… we trust you can flirt without flashcards.

You’ll meet everyone over the course of the evening, and yes—there are matching cards. So if someone catches your eye (or your sense of humour), you can let us know. If it’s mutual, we’ll work our magic and connect you the next day.

After that? The structure melts away and the night is yours.

Stay, mingle, grab a drink, circle back to someone intriguing, or make a bold move and ask them out on the spot. Or don’t. We love a little mystery.

And let’s talk about the setting—Alchemy is, quite frankly, a bit of a hidden gem. Stylish, intimate, and exactly the kind of place where sparks tend to happen without trying too hard.

We’ll be making this a monthly thing, so consider this your invitation to be part of something from the start.
