by Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins
Directed by Kirsten Trump, this humorous and contemporary spin on the fifteenth-century morality play Everyman delves into the timeless allegory of death and the fate of the human soul, while also exploring the outrageous musings of twenty-first-century life.
Award-winning playwright Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins, known for his works Octoroon and Appropriate, infuses this play with his signature wit and sensitivity. His masterful storytelling guides us through the universal human journey — birth, life and death — posing the poignant question: Are we ever truly ready?
