Every Body Belongs: Boston Fashion Week 2024

Boston, MA - The "Every Body Belongs" fashion show, a groundbreaking event that highlights inclusivity in the fashion and arts communities, will take place during Boston Fashion Week on October 15th, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Garage_B at the within the historically renowned Charles River Speedway in Brighton (1420 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA 02135). This one-of-a-kind event, organized by HumanKind Casting, is set to feature adaptive talent, including models, performers, and athletes, and is designed to reflect the diversity and inclusion that is too often missing in fashion and mainstream media.

HumanKind Casting, led by industry veteran Kristie Raymond, is a pioneering agency committed to addressing the underrepresentation of diverse individuals, particularly persons with disabilities, in mainstream media. The "Every Body Belongs" event aligns with this mission by creating authentic and inclusive visual storytelling, showcasing a wide array of talent on the runway and behind the scenes.

Hosting the evening will be Jason Mikell, Meteorologist and TV personality and a welcome addition to WBZ/CBS News Boston. In addition to his meteorology expertise, Jason is a multifaceted media professional, known not only for his work as a journalist but for his advocacy for diversity and inclusion within the media industry.

Attendees can look forward to live performances by musicians from the disability community, a red-carpet experience, and a showcase of adaptive and traditional fashion from local designers throughout Massachusetts. This unique event will also include an immersive theater experience that will shed further light on what inclusion can mean to us all and make this event THE standout experience of Boston Fashion Week.!
