How many times can you do the Mirador Cerro de la Cruz? Join me April 18 at 6:30 a.m. when I attempt the Everesting Challenge on Puerto Vallarta's beloved viewpoint in Centro -- climbing up and down the hill and stairs 110 times in a single activity.
THIS IS AN INFORMAL EVENT. NO ENTRY and ALL SELF-SUPPORTED.
The Everesting Challenge involves climbing a single hill without sleep until you accumulate 29,029ft (or 8,848m) of vertical -- the height of Mt. Everest. In order to gain that elevation on the Mirador Cerro de la Cruz, I need to do it 110 times, from the base of the hill to the top of the main set of stairs (not going to the actual mirador).
It will likely take me 24 hours or more.
If you like challenges, come out, offer support and go for a new personal best or a quarter Everesting (28 laps) or half Everesting (55 laps). Whatever gets you excited.
