TREK OVERVIEW

• This trek follows the classic Everest Base Camp route through traditional Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, deep river valleys, and dramatic high‑altitude Himalayan landscapes.
• Carefully planned acclimatization days are included to support proper altitude adaptation and reduce the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
• Accommodation is provided in well‑established teahouses and mountain lodges along the trail, offering basic comfort in remote Himalayan settings.
• All required internal transportation, including the scenic Kathmandu–Lukla–Kathmandu flights and necessary ground transfers, is arranged.

SHORT ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival, airport transfer to hotel, trek briefing and final preparation.
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu → Lukla → Trek to Phakding
Scenic mountain flight to Lukla followed by an easy acclimatization trek to Phakding.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding → Namche Bazaar
Enter Sagarmatha National Park, cross suspension bridges, and ascend to the Sherpa capital.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Rest and acclimatization with optional hikes and cultural exploration.
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar → Tengboche
Panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam and visit to the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Day 6: Trek from Tengboche → Dingboche
Gradual ascent through alpine landscapes with increasing mountain views.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak for altitude adaptation.
Day 8: Trek from Dingboche → Lobuche
Continue through the upper Khumbu Valley toward higher elevations.
Day 9: Trek from Lobuche → Gorak Shep → Everest Base Camp → Gorak Shep
Reach Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and return to Gorak Shep.
Day 10: Hike up to Kala Patthar → Trek to Pheriche
Early morning climb to Kala Patthar for sunrise views, followed by descent.
Day 11: Trek from Pheriche → Namche Bazaar
Long but scenic descent back through familiar trails.
Day 12: Trek Namche Bazaar → Lukla
Final trekking day with celebration of trek completion.
Day 13: Fly from Lukla → Kathmandu
Return flight and free time in Kathmandu. Farewell Dinner.
Day 14: Departure from Nepal
Airport transfer, End of EBC journey.
