Everyone talks about Event Storming, but... do you really know why you're doing it?

In this talk, we'll look at Event Storming through the lens of those who build backend systems: understanding what the user really needs and turning that into technical elements like events, business rules, flows, and context boundaries. An honest conversation about purpose, real learning, and what shows up once the sticky notes run out and the code needs to be born.

About the Speaker:

Alice David dos Santos is a Solutions Architect and Consultant with 18 years of experience translating complex business problems into technical solutions. She actively applies Domain-Driven Design and Event Storming in her client work. Alice has spoken to numerous developer communities, including sessions at TDC Floripa, and is an active member of the DDD Brasil community. She has also attended DDD Europe as part of the Brazilian delegation. She shares her work on Event Storming, solutions architecture, and system design across social media.
