Update 2-15, workshop is now full-thank you for your interest!🐝Join AJ, an experienced beekeeper & herbalist for a unique workshop where you & your kiddo/s will learn all about honeybees, crafting a medicinal salve from Florida natives, & get to take one home to use yourselves!
🧐Focus: Kids will learn honeybee anatomy(under a microscope), gain an understanding of how the colony operates, get hands-on experience with our homemade Warre hive, learn about the medicinal plants/lichen used, how to make a salve, & help finalize the salve process to take one home. All this while also strengthening mindfulness, communication, + listening skills from a National Geographic Certified Educator, Permaculture Designer, and all around Naturalist with a decade of experience in the field fostering love of nature & self with children professionally.
Kids will also have free play for the last bit that includes access to: 👩🌾The Garden 🏡Treehouse 🤸♂️Zipline 🛝Slide & swings ☀️ Muddy area/kitchen ⚡️Ninja line 🏐 Volleyball + Cornhole

🧒Geared towards kids ages 6-13, but open to ages above if interested!

🚘Parking: You may park on our street(Pryor) or if it is full, the nearby(1 block away) Public City Parking Lot is another great option. Enter on the right side of the home, through the garden, see you in the backyard under the pavilion. (There will be a welcome sign to help)
