Please join us for our special programme of events, outings and courses during 2024 as we explore different forms of prayer. We look forward to welcoming some of the country’s most distinguished academics, authors and theologians who will give a short address during Evensong in the months ahead, including:
Sunday 17th November 6.30pm – Evensong with Year for Prayer Address by The Reverend Canon Dr Gordon Giles – “Hymn to the Future”
Author, liturgist, member of the Editorial Board of the Revised English Hymnal and Canon Chancellor of Rochester Cathedral, Gordon will speak to us about the use of AI in prayer and hymnody, asking – ‘Can AI write a hymn?’ Is it any good – and can it be worship?
