Evening of Hope Butterfly Release 2025

A Better Way is so happy to be holding our 5th Evening of Hope Butterfly Release, during which we all can honor loved ones past and present, support those in need, and enjoy a pleasant and joyful evening together. Once again, we will be at the beautiful Richmond Rose Garden in Glen Miller Park. In addition to the butterfly release at the rose garden, our event will also include a silent auction, live music, wine/beer and light hors d’oeuvres & desserts.

Proceeds will support A Better Way programs which, through its 2 locations, (Muncie & Richmond) provides shelter and trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, a walk-in Rape Crisis Center, mobile advocacy, individual counseling, support groups, transitional housing, rapid re-housing, homeless resources and assistance, a 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, education and referrals, bullying, teen dating violence, and domestic violence prevention programs, and a check-in call service for older or disabled homebound persons. Also, children's programs and transportation for survivors of domestic violence, family violence, dating violence and sexual assault.

Join us at our upcoming event and receive a butterfly to honor someone special in your life, whether from the past or present, or someone who has made a difference in our community. Tickets are $30 per person and include one butterfly. If you wish to honor additional people, it's just $15 per extra butterfly beyond the ticket price. All honoree names will be displayed at the event, making it a meaningful celebration of special individuals while supporting programs at A Better Way.

If you can't attend but still want a butterfly released in someone's honor or memory, you can purchase butterflies separately. You can honor a wide range of people with a butterfly, including:
