This class will present an intuitive approach to drawing the nude human figure. We will work from the model, incorporating, gesture, observation and imagination to create drawings that enhance and develop your own creative style. Beginners as well as those with experience are welcome. As well as doing exercises in class, we will look at great drawings of the past to discern the elements that make up their beauty. We will first work large with charcoal on newsprint, and as things progress you are encouraged to explore whatever drawing medium interests you. I will be available to offer guidance and direction as needed, and even homework if you desire.
