Evening Bug Walk in Harmon Canyon
About this Event
As our days wind down in the evening, nature is still bustling and awake. In fact, a whole cast of invertebrates emerges as the sun sets and day turns to night. Insect activity explodes in the twilight...what might there be to see that we miss during the day?
---
We will go on a gentle guided walk in Harmon Canyon, stopping to examine invertebrates that we find along the way. We will walk between 1-2 miles at most and this walk is open to all ages.
- Sturdy walking shoes, sun protection, and water are highly recommended.
- A blacklight flashlight or lantern is recommended. A handful will be available to use.
