Evanston’s 6th Annual Juneteenth Parade

Time: Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM

Location: Starts at Lee & Dodge (Back of Robert Crown 1801 Main Street) and concludes at Ingraham Park (2100 Ridge ave back of Evanston Civic Center)

We invite you to participate in the Evanston Area-Wide Juneteenth Parade, a celebration of freedom, culture, and community. This year, we come together to honor the historical significance of Juneteenth, which marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the ongoing journey toward equality and justice.

Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19, serves as a powerful reminder of resilience and the ongoing fight for civil rights. Live Performances: Enjoy music & dance from the South Shore Drill team, Jesse White Tumblers and other artists.

Family Activities: Fun and engaging activities for kids and families at the parade’s conclusion.

Food and Vendors: Delicious food options and local vendors showcasing their crafts and services.
