Drawing from nearly 30 years of experience in evangelization situations and conversations, Sean has formulated some ideas and approaches to evangelization that can help virtually anyone find it easier to share his or her faith with others. Sean also teaches people how to pass on the light of faith in a way that may compel others to want to share their faith as well. It is like passing the torch and enabling them to run with it. In this way, we can help create a ripple effect in spreading the Catholic faith, which in turn will help our Church continue to grow and thrive.Sean McVeigh is a lifelong Catholic who passionately lives his faith. He started street evangelizing as a college student in 1996. After being urged by many, he discerned a vocation to the priesthood by joining the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in the late 1990s. Although he did not feel called to remain in that way of life, Sean has worked for the Church in various capacities since. Sean currently works as the Pastoral Minister of Discipleship at St. Jude Church in Cedar Rapids. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the topic of evangelization.
