Evaluation & Treatment of the Upper Cervical Spine: An Integrated Approach

Seminar Description:

This seminar will focus on the evaluation and treatment of the upper cervical spine (C0, C1, C2, C3). Associated movement dysfunctions and cervicogenic headaches (CGHA) will be discussed and their treatment will be provided. Participants will be exposed to a variety of treatment strategies, including joint/soft tissue mobilization, muscle energy technique (MET), and manipulation.

Seminar Presenter:

Mark Gugliotti, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, is an Associate Professor for the Department of Physical Therapy at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Dr. Gugliotti is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and manual therapist. He is a member of the APTA as well as its specialty sections in orthopedics, women’s health, and oncology.
