Brent Chancellor, Ph.D., PE, FRSE
Dr. Brent Chancellor specializes in investigating failures and fixing problems in existing structures, problem avoidance through peer reviews, and design consulting to develop high performance structural systems for unique conditions or to survive extreme events.
Dr. Chancellor’s experience spans many structure types, including tall buildings, healthcare structures, aviation structures, mixed-use buildings, residential structures, office buildings, industrial buildings, and space structures. He has experience with many types of hazards including wind, seismic, and man-made threats.
Oscar Ardila, Ph.D.
Oscar Ardila joined WJE in 2023, bringing over 12 years of experience in structural engineering, specializing in the analysis, assessment, design, and repair of reinforced concrete structures. He has participated in numerous projects (primarily in the United States and Latin America) involving design of new civil infrastructure facilities, or structural assessment, rehabilitation, modification, and/or strengthening of existing infrastructure. His international experience includes significant involvement in hydroelectric power projects.
