Europe’s Non-Food / Variety Discounters such as Action, Pepco/Poundland, B&M Bargains, Home Bargains, Tedi, and Europris are outgrowing general retail by driving like-for-like improvements and opening a large number of new stores in many new locations. Suppliers, that have sold through this channel, are normally impressed with the growth in volumes. Not only does the channel provide fast growth, but this growth is often incremental. Two challenges remain formidable: Finding the right SKUs to align with the channel’s desired price points AND cross-border coordination. This session will provide an update on the channel and how it will shape in 2025/26, profiling key retailers. It will also provide best practical advice on how to win with the right pack and promo.
