Let's explore the hanseatic city and its tea trade history, as well as the region of East Frisia, the East Frisian Tea Museum and other tea related attractions.

Info: This conference offers a creative, interactive and holistic programme to explore the tea cultures of Bremen and the region of East Frisia. In 2016, the tea culture of East Frisia has been listed as UNESCO intangible world heritage as the first world heritage related to tea. After ten years, this conference will celebrate and valorise this important milestone of tea cultures.

Info: Surrounded by maritime environment of Bremen, the SRH campus welcomes all participants for presentations, networking, a light lunch facing the harbour and more insights about tea, trade, history and entrepreneurship | dinner will be in the city centre

Info: The conference will be continued with presentations and talks in the tealounge of the last family-owned and managed tea companies in East Frisia: Thiele Tee in Emden. In addition, art and culture of Emden will be explored. | Lunch and dinner are included.

Info: This day is dedicated to the history and heritage of the East Frisian tea culture, listed by the UNESCO in 2016 as intangible world heritage. The East Frisian Tea Museum will host the conference, key note speakers will speak about the UNESCO-listing and about tea museums as a special value for tea tourism. Another traditional tea company, Onno Behrends, will be also part of the programme, lunch and dinner are included as well as a bus transfer between the locations.
