European Pipe Band Championships Set for Perth

The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association is delighted to announce that the European Pipe Band Championships will be held in Perth on Saturday, 27 June 2026.

This prestigious event will bring together pipe bands from across Europe and beyond, celebrating the excellence, heritage and shared traditions of pipe band music. Hosting the Championships in Perth reflects the city’s strong cultural identity and proud connection to Scotland’s rich piping and drumming heritage, as well as its reputation as a welcoming and vibrant destination for major events.

The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Chief Executive, Colin Mulhern, said:

“As preparations begin for the 2026 European Pipe Band Championships in Perth, anticipation is already building. We are delighted to be preparing to welcome competitors, supporters and spectators to what promises to be a fantastic day on Saturday, 27 June 2026.
