We’re excited to announce that our European Heritage Celebration has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026!
After the original event was postponed due to severe weather and flooding, we are looking forward to finally welcoming our community to Indy’s Global Village for an afternoon celebrating the rich traditions, cultures, and contributions of Europe.
Enjoy an afternoon of cultural discovery featuring live music and performances, traditional foods, artisan vendors, cultural displays, and activities for children and families. Meet members of local European cultural organizations, learn about their history and customs, and experience traditions that continue to enrich our community.

The celebration is part of our special European Heritage Exhibit: From Roots to Future – European Traditions in America, on display August 7–September 7, 2026. The exhibit explores the stories, traditions, and lasting influence of European communities in Indiana and beyond.
Whether you're reconnecting with your own heritage or discovering new cultures, this free, family-friendly celebration offers something for everyone.
