Medea, the most disturbing of Greek tragic heroines, created by Euripides almost 2,500 years ago, is often portrayed as a she-devil, a murderous manipulator who is wild with love and rage.In Ben Power’s version directed by Bettina Parnis, Becky Camilleri plays a woman who is desperate to take control of her life, betrayed by a man she deeply cares for but who chooses to begin a new life with another woman.
