The Eureka Day School in Berkeley is a bastion of progressive ideals. Its five board members make every decision by consensus — until a mumps outbreak hits. Suddenly, facts become subjective, and every solution divisive.
Eureka Day hilariously and poignantly asks: How do you build consensus when no one can agree on truth?
(And yes, you’ll never believe it, but it was written pre-pandemic.)
Written by Jonathan Spector, Eureka Day won the 2025 Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Drama League Award for Best Revival, and is the 3rd most produced play of the 2025–26 season.
