Farmers Market Pavilion Highlight: Words Out Loud: Poetry and Prose Open Mic at the First Friday Artwalk, 5:45pm-8:00pm
Wordcrafters is bringing spoken word to the Farmers Market Pavilion at Words Out Loud for the Lane Arts Council First Friday Artwalk in July. Emceed by Jorah LaFleur, we’ll kick off with spoken-word performers, Wynter Eddins and Santiago Navia, then the mic opens to the community.
Words Out Loud is an all-ages, all-wordcraft open mic (poetry, prose, fiction, nonfiction, storytelling, all of it welcome). Free to attend, free to perform, and definitely worth clearing your Friday evening for.

Oregon Country Fair: Oregon Country Fair is just a few weeks away! We celebrate together in Veneta on July 11th, 12th , and 13th. Coming up is a weekend filled with glorious food, handcrafted wares, and every form of performance art you can imagine. We have all genres of music, belly dancing, stilts and silks, and many vaudevillians. The Fair is tucked under shade trees and winds along the Long Tom River for a cool and transformative experience. Hop on the free LTD shuttle bus or load up your car with your best friends and enjoy the most exciting weekend all year. You can find more information including entertainment, tickets, and helpful tips on our website at www.oregoncountryfair.org.
ArtWalk is supported by funds from the Oregon Arts Commission, a policy-making and advisory body within the Oregon Business Development Department, funded by the State of Oregon and the National Endowment for the Arts.
