Get ready for a full day of dancing at Manchester Winter, the biggest competition we’ll be attending in Semester 1! This will be much larger than ICDC, and also features a team match at the end of the day where we dress up in costumes. This year’s theme is Favourite 2000s Icons. Open dress will be allowed for novices and above, so beginners need to wear restricted dress. There is also a fun charity dance, this year it is the Freeze Quickstep , which costs £1 to enter.
We have arranged accommodation. The aim is to get a train down Friday evening, stay two nights and return to Edinburgh on Sunday.

If you are competing at Manchester Winter, you MUST fill out the Competitor Census form too, as the IVDA require certain information about your student status (but ex-students at Manchester Winter can compete at all the same events as students).

Cost:
Entry: £20 per competitor (regardless of how many events you wish to compete in)
Accommodation & Entry: Around £150, TBC
Travel: Please book your own travel. Most of us will be getting the 16:11 Train from Edinburgh Waverley to Manchester Piccadilly 19:26 on Friday. Return on Sunday daytime.
Venue: Abraham Moss Leisure Centre (outside Abraham Moss Tram Stop which is on the Bury tram line)
