🕑: 09:00 AM - 09:30 AM
Opening Worship & Call to the Conference (Pastor Fletcher Matandika - Host)

Info: We will begin the day by lifting our eyes to Christ, the Light who shines in the darkness. Through congregational singing, Scripture reading, and prayer, this opening time will set the tone for the entire conference—centering our hearts on the glory of God and the power of the gospel. The call to the conference will frame our theme, Post Tenebras Lux, and invite us to come with humility, expectancy, and a readiness to be shaped by God’s Word.

🕑: 09:30 AM - 10:10 AM
After Darkness, Light: Christ’s Gospel in a World Gone Dark (Dr. Conrad Mbewe)

Info: In a world marked by spiritual confusion, moral darkness, and cultural instability, the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ shines with undiminished power. In this opening session, Dr. Conrad Mbewe will ground us in the biblical truth behind Post Tenebras Lux—that God brings light through Christ into the darkest places of human sin and despair. This message will lay a strong theological foundation for the day, reminding us that the hope of the world is not found in human effort or cultural renewal, but in the sovereign grace of God revealed in the gospel. Attendees will be called to renewed confidence in Christ, boldness in witness, and deep assurance that the light of the gospel cannot be overcome.

🕑: 10:10 AM - 10:30 AM

The Light of the Word: Scripture as God’s Weapon Against Darkness

Info: In an age marked by confusion, deception, and spiritual struggle, God has not left His people without a sure and sufficient guide. In this session, Dr. Jim Newheiser will highlight the power, clarity, and sufficiency of Scripture as God’s primary means of bringing light into darkness. Drawing from his experience in biblical counseling and pastoral ministry, he will show how the Word of God exposes sin, renews the mind, and brings real hope and transformation to broken lives. This message will call believers to trust the Scriptures fully, apply them faithfully, and wield them wisely in both personal discipleship and ministry to others.
