Ethics in Perinatal Health: Navigating Complex Decisions with Compassion & Clarity

This interactive workshop explores the ethical challenges and decision making processes faced by mental health clinicians working with clients during the perinatal period – encompassing pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Participants will engage with real-world case studies and have an opportunity to share their own cases and ethical quandaries. Through guided discussion and collaborative exercises, participants will deepen their understanding of the NASW code of ethics, ethical frameworks and cultural considerations that shape perinatal mental health care.
