Equine Assisted Learning is an interactive, experiential model utilizing a treatment team of mental health specialists, equine specialists, and horses. It allows the participant to work through the presented challenge in the here and now. No horse experience is necessary and all activities are ground based, no riding is involved.
This course meets 3.0 hours ethics and 2.0 hours suicide requirements for social work licensure renewal in Missouri. Diversity is now an elective and will be offered at the end of the day.
