About this Event

SESSION 4
'All Things Being Equal' Equinox Celebration

Step into balance as we welcome the Spring Equinox. This special gathering honors the moment when day and night are in perfect harmony. We'll explore the rich history and astronomy of this unique calendar event, celebrating nature's rhythm and the official start of spring. We'll head across the street to Central Park and explore the trees around us, to determine whether they are soon waking from their winter sleep.
About Ethical Night Rangers

Do you miss seeing stars over New York City? Join the Night Rangers—a program bringing together families, students, seniors, and everyone in between who are dedicated to understanding and reducing light pollution. This isn’t just about science; it’s about ethical action, shared curiosity, and making our city healthier for people and wildlife.

All ages and backgrounds are welcome—no ranger is too young or too old.

Bring your imagination and become part of a team committed to making a visible difference in our city and bringing back the night sky.
