Our June Volunteer Sewing/Work Day will be Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls from 9am - 4pm! Huge THANKS to Central for opening their church to us again, & grateful thanks to Pam M. for all her help in making this happen!
Volunteers are welcome to come for the entire day or whatever part your schedule allows. We will be working on everything associated with creating all our angel outfits from de-constructing, to laying out patterns & pinning, to cutting, to sewing, ironing, removing beading, hand sewing appliques, the list is long & vast. And all abilities are needed, whether you know how to sew or not!
If you do know how to sew, bring your sewing machine, power cords, sewing pins, & white thread if you have it, otherwise we have extra. Everything else will be provided including an instruction book & lots of moral support & encouragement! If you don't know how to sew, that's great too! Just bring eager hands & a compassionate heart & you will fit right in! If you've ever thought about joining us, but haven't yet, we'd love to meet you & share what we do with you!
Lunch is potluck & all the volunteers are strongly encouraged to join us for lunch! We always have a big variety of foods to choose from to accommodate everyone's preferences, so feel free to bring any dish to pass you'd like. And if time or finances don't allow you to bring anything, no worries, as we have tons of food to share & would love to dine with you all! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGES FOR THE DAY! Plates, utensils, & napkins will be provided!

This is critically important, so I make sure I bring enough work to keep everyone busy while they're there!
