Open Advice Sessions for Writers
Thursday 6, 13, 20 and 27 June.
11am-12noon, 12.30pm-1.30pm, 2.30pm-3.30pm and 4pm-5pm.

These free sessions are available for Essex writers of all genres and experience levels. Book an hour-long slot, with a panel of the Metal team and our associate writers, to discuss your writing practice, talk through ideas, find signposting to references and opportunities or simply get feedback on your works in progress.

We’re offering these sessions in person at Chalkwell Hall, as well as the option to discuss your work with us online. There is one session available per artist and the slots are 1 hour long.

Who is the offer for?

Our Open Advice Sessions are open to eriters working in any genre, at any stage of their career. Individuals, collaborations or collectives can book a slot.
Bookings are limited to one slot per writer.

You must live or work in, or have a strong connection to South Essex (Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea, Thurrock)
