About this Event
The grazing management decisions you make today impact everything from the soil beneath your feet to the community all around you.
That’s why we’ve created Essentials of Regenerative Grazing: to teach you practical skills and specific actions to grow a more sustainable future for yourself and coming generations. Designed in collaboration with grazing expert, consultant and speaker, Jim Gerrish, it equips you with the tools, skills, and essentials needed to develop the grazing management strategy right for you.
This in-person, hands-on, three-day course will give you the knowledge and experience you need to:
- Identify variables and resources to consider in a grazing plan.
- Predict the impact of grazing management decisions on soil health.
- Establish grazing management goals and the initial steps to reach them.
- Determine the limiting factor of your current grazing practices and develop a strategy to address it.
- Anticipate potential challenges and pivot strategies appropriately.
You’ll learn easy-to-follow techniques to quickly assess your forage production and infrastructure capacity to create the immediate steps needed to begin grazing more effectively.
What makes this course different?

Then, when it’s time to put your plans into action on your ranch, you will have a community of support through a peer network of fellow ranchers and coaching services from our experienced facilitators.
Join the Community
