This historical event continues to thrive every year and is a significant celebration of the history and culture of Black individuals. It united our community, highlighting diversity and inclusion within our campus community, and could not have been successful without our EOBC committee members, sponsors, volunteers, and vendors.
For the third year, Essence of Black Celebration will continue to focus on cultivating the dynamics of diversity as well as celebrating and acknowledging the impacts Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements, and more. This year’s EOBC theme is “The Power of Black Labor.”
This event will be open to neighboring colleges’ sororities, fraternities, and community vendors. Food, vendors, a live auction, resources, live entertainment, and more will be there.
