**GRATUIT **Nous invitons les artistes locaux de performance à incarner les espaces du Centre PHI et à s'engager avec les visiteur·euse·s de manière inattendue sur fond de programmation médiatique, sonore et d'installations d'art contemporain.
Ianna Book est une artiste pluridisciplinaire basée à Montréal, QC. Elle a poursuivi ses études en arts plastiques au Cégep du Vieux-Montréal ainsi qu’en arts visuels et médiatiques à l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Son travail a été présenté dans divers événements au Canada et à l'international: Leslie & Lohman Museum de New York, Elisabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art du Brooklyn Museum, entre autres. La travail de Book s’inscrit dans une esthétique critique remettant en question les normes du paysage et de l’immobilisme conservateur pour donner place à de nouveaux éléments culturels. En réaménageant le décor et divers aspects du spectacle, elle incite le spectateur à se questionner sur ses propres conditions et à se rappeler qu’il est un acteur social pouvant progresser.

We have invited local performance artists to interpret spaces within the circulation pathways of the PHI Centre and engage with visitors in unexpected ways against a backdrop of media and sound programming and contemporary art installations.
Ianna Book is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, QC. She pursued her studies in fine arts at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal and in visual and media arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Her work has been showcased in various events in Canada and internationally, including the Leslie &
Lohman Museum in New York and the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum. Book's work is rooted in a critical aesthetic that challenges the norms of conservative landscapes and immobility, making space for new cultural elements. By reconfiguring the setting and various aspects of the performance, she encourages the viewer to question their own conditions and to remember that they are a
social actor capable of progress.
