The Escher String Quartet isa highly acclaimed American classical ensemble founded in 2005 in New York City. Known for its tonal beauty, individual blend, and musical insight, the ensemble serves as Season Artists of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

The performance at St. John's Georgetown will feature music by Haydn, Korngold, and Brahms.

The group draws its name from the famous Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher, reflecting his artistic method of intertwining individual components to build a complex, unified whole.
