Join computer scientist Dr. Nadine Shillingford for an interactive cybersecurity escape room challenge. Dr. Shillingford will begin with a short discussion about cybersecurity, including simple but important ways to protect personal information, create strong passwords, and recognize online scams.
Then the game begins: the library has been hit by a ransomware attack that has locked the catalog system — and access to the Summer Reading Program! Players must work together to search for hidden clues throughout the library, solve puzzles, and recover the missing security keys needed to reset the library’s security system before time runs out.
