DINORWIG WORKSHOP 2 (DIFFICULTY RATING ”MODERATE”, good mobility & fitness required):
This workshop concentrates on the lower levels of the quarry workings which require less physical effort to access but are nonetheless photogenic. Starting at the “secret” waterfall and making our way down to the amazing Anglesey Barracks, exploring abandoned inclines, drum houses and numerous buildings all with views across to the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) mountain range & over the lakes of Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris near Llanberis.
