Join the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation and Leave No Trace Representative David Lauthers for a 90-minute guided “Walk and Talk” exploring the 7 Leave No Trace Principles, their history, science, and why they matter.
This interactive hike will mix storytelling, discussion, and hands-on examples to help you understand how small actions make a big difference for trails, parks, and our shared outdoor spaces.
Whether you’re new to Leave No Trace or want a refresher, you’ll leave with practical tips and a deeper appreciation for how to enjoy nature responsibly.
