Erik Weihenmayer -- "Touching Everest"

Touching Everest is a groundbreaking, universally designed children’s book inspired by the extraordinary journey of Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind person to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Created for both blind and sighted readers, it invites children and families to experience the wonders of the world’s highest peak through storytelling, touch, and imagination.

Featuring braille, large print, and richly detailed artwork that can be seen and felt, Touching Everest offers a pioneering adventure for all ages and abilities. Readers can now travel together through vibrant cultures and towering landscapes.

But more than a climbing story, Touching Everest reveals insights into tenacity, teamwork, and the courage to transform our most daring dreams into nearly impossible summits.
