Learn how to make flowers out of fabric! Kanzashi (簪) are traditional Japanese hair ornaments, often fabric flowers made from folded cloth. Join us to craft a bouquet of flowers from scraps and buttons featuring three simple flower styles using circles—perfect for holiday and winter decorations!You don’t need a sewing machine, just a needle, thread, and your imagination. Free. Registration required. Ages 13 to adult. This class will take place in the Community Classroom
For this project, participants will need the following basic skills:
Able to thread a needle
Able to cut fabric with scissors
Able to do a basic running stitch
Able to use a hot glue gun
