Eric Ching plays straight ahead through modern jazz in the spirit of Kenny Garrett McCoy Tyner and Herbie Hancock. He yearns for the unexpected and his songs gradually unfold like a Tarantino movie. 

His original compositions serve to represent the feeling of "I'm not necessarily sure what I'm looking for but I'll know when I've found it."
