About this Event
Erasure Table Read
Join Victoria Renee Productions for an exclusive table read of Erasure, the latest feature-length screenplay by Victoria Renee.
Erasure is a dystopian, revolutionary tale set in Atlanta’s West End, Miami, and Haiti. The story follows Jeremie, a 23-year-old Haitian American man struggling to care for his 7-year-old sister, Amina, while navigating a technologically oppressive world that threatens their survival. It is inspired by Victoria Renee’s firsthand experience working at a major AI company, the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and the Haitian Revolution. Erasure is timely, provocative, and deeply human. Come close out Black History Month with a bold and imaginative story that asks urgent questions about power, technology, and legacy.
This is a free, public event open to all and will take place at the historic Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History.
