Local food is for everyone! At the Rail Yards Market we believe that fresh and local food should be accessible and affordable to all. As a non-profit we work hard to help remove barriers of access to local food by keeping prices low for vendors, and welcoming SNAP, WIC, and double-up-food-bucks. Come on down to the people's market at the historic Rail Yards in Barelas! 🧳Albuquerque Job Corps: a Federal Job Training Program under the Department of Labor which offers free Job (trade) Training, High School (or equivalency), Driver's License, Associate's Degree (through CNM), Housing, Meals, and basic Wellness. ABQ Job Corps offers wrap around services to low-income students ranging from the ages of 16-24, however documented disability can potentially wave the 24-age limit. Job Corps enrolls year-round on a weekly basis, in addition to these free opportunities students also earn a bi-weekly stipend and graduation stipend ranging anywhere from $200-1,200 dollars. ABQJCC is completely self-paced with a program limit of 3 years total.
